And from Mamie this week:
We have a busy week ahead of us. We have an impromptu team dinner Wednesday after practice at the Starkey house (2430 Lydia Lane). We have the City Meet Thursday at Riverfront Park. This is the last JV meet of the season. The coaches have asked for donations of firewood for the large fireplace at the shelter to help keep everyone warm. If you have some you would be willing to donate please let me know! We will have an awards ice cream banquet the Thursday after the state meet (Oct. 25) to celebrate our athletes. If anyone is available to help decorate, set-up, serve, or clean-up please let me know. This is a super fun time for our team and families.
